Yuletide Letter

 Dear Yuletide Writer,

Hello, and thanks for writing for me! Honestly, I'm not very picky about what you write about -- as long as it's about one of the ships or characters on my list, I'll read it and I'll love it. AUs / canon compliant / alternate canon fics are all great with me; any rating is fine too. Below I've listed some of my favorite tropes and themes, and my DNW list. 

Types of fics I like: 

• Missing scenes
• Dark/villain AU
• Role reversal AU
• Criminals and/or heist AU
• Spy and/or assassin AU
• Post canon 
• Pre canon
• Fairytale or royalty AU
• Supernatural AU (vampires, mermaids, witches, etc)
• Haunted House AU
• Introspective fics
• Alternate canon
  

General likes: 

• Themes of love, power, and/or revenge
• Displays of trust (or lack of trust in some cases), between characters
• Little subconscious displays of affection and intimacy in established relationships 
• Lovers or friends who actually have way more in common that it seems at first
• Exes who reconnect / second chances 
• Power struggles, rivalries, power imbalances, mind games
• Enemies working with each other... also enemies working against each other
• Two characters who understand each other better better than anyone
• Two characters who have such opposing viewpoints that they genuinely cannot understand where the other is coming from
• Angst (with a happy or sad ending)
• Characters giving into (or fighting with) temptations 
• Characters being ambitious, strategic and "big picture" thinkers
• Characters too caught up in emotions to see the bigger picture
• Characters making decisions that no one else (none of their loved ones at least) will understand or forgive
• Two (or more) characters lying to the rest of the world / keeping a secret
• Grey morality, conflicted loyalties, lose/lose situations 
• Unlikely found families
• Lovers to enemies or friends to enemies 

Do Not Wants/Dislikes: coffee shop AU, high school AU, underage couples, drunken sex, pregnancy fic, grief/mourning as the center of a fic, and the following kinks: vore, scat, watersports, bestiality, underage (under 18), a/b/o

That's all I can think of, but if you have another idea in mind, by all means go for it. But I do ask that you avoid my DNW list when possible. 

Once Upon a Time in Wonderland: [Anastasia, Will]

• This couple has a very special place in my heart, and I would be interested in pretty much anything you want to write about them. For these two, I genuinely love every dynamic they have -- I love them as a couple, I love them as bitter exes, as enemies, begrudging allies, etc., etc. Part of what's great about them is their complexity, so don't feel like you have to write them as a pure/fluffy couple that's done nothing wrong in their relationship ever (not that I wouldn't enjoy that too, if that's what you want to write!). 
• Feel free to include other OUATIW characters if you want to, but please keep Ana and Will as the focus of the fic.

Still Star Crossed: [Livia, Isabella]

• I know that Livia and Isabella never really even interacted in the show, but I love the idea that they end up together somehow. I'd love to read them paired together or even just interacting in post-canon fic, missing scenes, or any of the AUs I mentioned above.
• You can include other Still Star Crossed characters in the fic if you want, but please keep Livia and Isabella as the focus. 

Hotel del Luna: [Man Wol, Chung Myung, Song Hwa, Yeon Woo]

• I really, really love the flashback scenes of these 4, and I enjoy their present day scenes as well. I would love to see more of them in any form -- be it an AU, or missing scene, introspective, really anything. I would like them all to be included in the story, but it's totally fine if you want to focus on one or two characters in particular.
• As far as shipping goes, I like any combination (or them all in a poly, poly is amazing too) -- in particular I have a soft spot for Man Wol x Song Hwa, Man Wol x Chung Myung, and Song Hwa x Yeon Woo. But if you prefer to leave out romance altogether, that's totally fine too! Truly, if you write any fic about these four, I will be very happy. 
• If you want to bring in other Hotel Del Luna characters for plot reasons, it's okay, but I ask that the focus stays on these four please!
